Ryan James Wedding is a Canadian former Olympic snowboarder who competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics. Following his sports career, he transitioned into transnational drug trafficking. He gained notoriety when he was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on March 6, 2025, due to his involvement in international drug trafficking activities.
In 1999, Ryan Wedding won a bronze medal in the Parallel Giant Slalom at the Junior World Championship.
In 2001, Ryan Wedding won a silver medal in the Junior World Championships.
After the 2002 Winter Olympics, Ryan Wedding moved back to Vancouver and attended Simon Fraser University.
In 2002, Ryan Wedding competed for Team Canada in snowboarding men's parallel giant slalom at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, where he finished 24th.
In 2006, the RCMP raided Eighteen Carrot Farms, finding a shotgun, ammunition, and $10 million worth of cannabis. Ryan Wedding was not on the property at the time and was not charged.
In 2010, Ryan Wedding was convicted of attempting to buy cocaine from a U.S. government agent in 2008 and was sentenced to four years in prison.
In 2011, Ryan Wedding married a woman from British Columbia while incarcerated.
