Sean McDermott is an American football coach who was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills (2017-2026). He started his NFL coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001, eventually becoming their defensive coordinator (2009-2010). He then served as the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers (2011-2016), reaching Super Bowl 50. In 2017, McDermott became the head coach of the Buffalo Bills.
