Oliver Taylor Hawkins (Taylor Hawkins) was an American musician best known as the drummer for the rock band Foo Fighters, a position he held from 1997 until his death in 2022. He shared vocal duties with Dave Grohl and recorded eight studio albums with the band. Prior to joining Foo Fighters, Hawkins toured as a drummer for Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette and played with the experimental band Sylvia. His energetic performances and musical talent made him a beloved figure in the rock music community.

In 2018, Taylor Hawkins spoke about his 2001 overdose incident, saying that he was partying a lot and that it was a real changing point for him. He also said he was sober.

On June 8, 2022, the Foo Fighters and the family of Taylor Hawkins announced two tribute shows to honor him.
On September 3, 2022, the first tribute concert for Taylor Hawkins was held at Wembley Stadium in London. The Foo Fighters were joined by numerous artists, including Travis Barker, Nandi Bushell, Liam Gallagher, Brian May, Paul McCartney and Hawkins' son Oliver Shane Hawkins who performed "My Hero". The concert was streamed live on YouTube and Paramount+, and broadcast on CBS.
On September 27, 2022, the second tribute concert for Taylor Hawkins took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. It featured Hawkins' bandmates and guest artists including Jack Black, Miley Cyrus, Alanis Morissette, and Pink. Shane Hawkins also played with Chevy Metal.
