The Villages is a census-designated place (CDP) in Florida, known for its larger age-restricted community. Located about 20 miles south of Ocala and 45 miles northwest of Orlando, it spans Sumter, Marion, and portions of Lake County. The 2020 census reported a population of 79,077 for the CDP.
