Tyler Adams is an American professional soccer player currently playing for Bournemouth in the Premier League and the United States national team. Primarily a midfielder, Adams is versatile and can effectively play as a full-back or winger on either side. He is known for his athleticism, tactical awareness, and ability to win the ball. Adams's career includes stints at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, where he gained Champions League experience, and Leeds United before joining Bournemouth. He is a key player for the USMNT, often serving as captain and demonstrating leadership qualities.
In November 2022 Tyler Adams was named captain of the United States squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This made him the youngest captain at the competition and the youngest American captain since 1950.
