History of Young Sheldon in Timeline

Young Sheldon is a spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory, chronicling the childhood of Sheldon Cooper in East Texas during the late 1980s and early-to-mid-1990s. The series follows young Sheldon, a child prodigy, as he navigates school and family life with his unique intellect and social challenges. Starring Iain Armitage as Sheldon, the show also features his family: mother Mary, father George, older brother Georgie, and twin sister Missy.
