Adam James Harrison is a Welsh cricketer, a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. Born in Newport, Monmouthshire, he comes from a cricketing family; his father, Stuart, and brother, David, also play cricket. Harrison attended St Alban's RC High School and currently plays for Abergavenny Cricket Club in the South East Wales Cricket League.
In 1983, Eifion and Alan Jones were the last brothers to play for the county before Adam Harrison and his brother David played together in 2005.

In the same year, he made his Youth Test match debut for England Under-19s against South Africa Under-19s and his Youth One Day International debut against Nepal Under-19s in the Under-19 World Cup.
In 2004, prior to his first-class debut, Harrison represented England Under-19s, making his Youth Test match debut against South Africa Under-19s. He also played Youth Tests against Bangladesh Under-19s in 2004 and his Youth One Day International debut came against Nepal Under-19s in the Under-19 World Cup.
In 2005, Harrison made further Youth Test appearances, the last of which came against Sri Lanka Under-19s. He also played Youth Tests against India Under-19s in 2005. Also in 2005, he made five further appearances in the Under-19 World Cup, as well four more appearances against India Under-19s.
In 2005, Harrison made his first-class debut for Glamorgan against Sussex in the County Championship, with his brother David playing alongside him. Also in 2005, he made further Youth Test appearances, the last of which was against Sri Lanka Under-19s. He also played Youth Tests against India Under-19s in 2005 and made four more Youth One Day International appearances against India Under-19s.
From 2006, Harrison made ten MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances for Wales Minor Counties.
In 2006, Harrison made his List A debut against Hampshire in the Pro40.
In 2007, Harrison made two further List A appearances against Kent and Leicestershire. At the end of the 2007 season, he was forced to retire due a persistent ankle injury.
In 2010, Harrison made his final Minor Counties Championship and MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances for Wales Minor Counties.
