Adelita Grijalva is an American politician and the U.S. representative-elect for Arizona's 7th congressional district. As a Democrat, she previously served on the Pima County Board of Supervisors (2021-2025) and the Tucson Unified School District Governing Board (2002-2022). She is the daughter of the late U.S. Representative Raúl Grijalva, who held the same congressional seat from 2003 until his death in 2025. Grijalva's career has focused on public service and education, following in her father's footsteps in Arizona politics.

In October 2023, the Pima County Board of Supervisors received two resolutions concerning the Gaza war. Grijalva's attempt to add language supporting civilians and humanitarian aid was declined by other supervisors.
In 2023, Adelita Grijalva was appointed chair of the Pima County Board, making her the first Latina to hold the position. She had previously served as vice chair for two years.
On March 31, 2025, Adelita Grijalva announced her campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives seat vacated by her father's death. She quickly met her signature goal, becoming the first candidate on the ballot and criticized plans for a new copper mine at Oak Flat. Grijalva received endorsements from leaders including Bernie Sanders.
