Anastasia Potapova is a Russian-born Austrian professional tennis player. Her highest WTA singles ranking is No. 21, achieved in June 2023, and her best doubles ranking is No. 40, reached in December 2022. Potapova has secured three WTA Tour singles titles and three doubles titles. Previously, she was the junior world No. 1 and won the 2016 Wimbledon girls' singles championship.

In 2021, Potapova had first-round exits at the St. Petersburg Trophy, Monterrey Open and the Indian Wells Open, causing her to fall out of the top 100. She made the doubles semifinals in St. Petersburg with Vera Zvonareva.
Potapova's 2021 season started with a first-round loss at the Abu Dhabi Open. At the Gippsland Trophy, she was defeated in the second round by Simona Halep.
In April 2022, ranked No. 122 at the İstanbul Cup, Potapova won her first WTA Tour title as a qualifier defeating Veronika Kudermetova. As a result, she returned to the top 80 in the rankings, at world No. 78 on April 25, 2022.
Following her showing in the Prague Open final where she lost to Marie Bouzková, on August 1, 2022, she reached the top 50 at world No. 48. At the same tournament, she won her third doubles title with Yana Sizikova and reached a career-high ranking of No. 52 in doubles also on August 1, 2022.
In December 5, 2022, Potapova reached a doubles ranking of world No. 40.
Seeded 27th at the Miami Open, on April 3, 2023, Potapova reached the quarterfinals. As a result, her ranking rose into the top 25 at world No. 21.
On June 19, 2023, Anastasia Potapova achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 21 by the WTA.
