Govardhan Asrani, known as Asrani, is an Indian actor and director with a Bollywood career spanning over five decades. He has appeared in over 350 Hindi films, playing lead, character, comedic, and supporting roles. He is most recognized for his role as a jailer in the iconic film 'Sholay' and his frequent collaborations with Rajesh Khanna, appearing in 25 films with him between 1972 and 1991.
