BMO Stadium, located in Los Angeles' Exposition Park, is a soccer-specific stadium that opened on April 18, 2018. It serves as the home for both Los Angeles FC (MLS) and Angel City FC (NWSL). Notably, it's the first open-air stadium constructed in Los Angeles since Dodger Stadium's completion in 1962.
On May 17, 2015, the Los Angeles Times reported that the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena site was chosen to build a 22,000-seat stadium for the MLS, costing $250 million. The project was estimated to create 1,200 temporary construction jobs and 1,800 full-time jobs, generating $2.5 million in annual tax revenue.
On May 6, 2016, the Los Angeles City Council approved the stadium, clearing the way for construction.
On August 23, 2016, a groundbreaking ceremony took place, attended by owners and construction crews. LAFC announced a 15-year, $100 million naming rights deal with the Banc of California.

On May 26, 2020, Banc of California announced its plan to end the naming rights deal, paying $20 million for early termination but remaining the club's banking sponsor.

On August 4, 2024, the first event at the stadium under the BMO Stadium name saw Terence Crawford defeat Israil Madrimov to win the WBA world title, becoming a four-weight world champion. This event was promoted under the Riyadh Season banner.
