October 21, 2020: Angel City FC Name Confirmation

On October 21, 2020, the club's name was confirmed as Angel City FC. Additional members of the ownership group were also announced, including Billie Jean King, Ilana Kloss, Candace Parker, P. K. Subban, Sophia Bush, Becky G, James Corden, Cobi Jones, Ryan Kalil, and Uzo Aduba.

October 2021: Shirt Number 22 Retirement
