1997: Indigenous Peoples (IP) Rights Act of 1997

The Republic Act 8371, or the Indigenous Peoples (IP) Rights Act of 1997, mandates the representation of IPs, with formal certification by the NCIP regional director. The representative serves for three years and can be re-endorsed for another term, but may not serve for more than three consecutive terms.

2011: Philippine Eagle Foundation Search
