Centennial High School (Tennessee)

Centennial High School is a public secondary school in Franklin, Tennessee, serving students in grades 9-12 from the central part of Williamson County. It is a part of the Williamson County Schools district. It provides standard high school education to its students.

1996: School Opening

In 1996, Centennial High School opened to alleviate overcrowding at Franklin High School.

2014: Performing Arts Center Construction

In 2014, a new 500-seat performing arts center was constructed at Centennial High School, including dressing rooms and set storage space.

2014: Information Technology Center Launch

In fall 2014, the Information Technology Center of Excellence at Centennial High School was launched as a collaboration between Williamson County Schools and Columbia State Community College.

2016: Highest Graduation Rate

In 2016, Centennial High School achieved its highest graduation rate to date at 95 percent. The average ACT score was 21.9, with 83 percent of graduates planning to attend a four-year college.

2016: Christmas Album Release

In fall 2016, the vocal music department at Centennial High School produced and released a Christmas album, with CDs sold for $10 each as a fundraiser.
