Conchita Martínez is a Spanish former professional tennis player and current coach, notable for being the first Spaniard to win the Wimbledon women's singles title in 1994. She also reached the finals of the Australian Open (1998) and French Open (2000). Martínez achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 2 in 1995 and consistently remained in the top 10 for nine years. Over her 18-year career, she secured 33 singles and 13 doubles titles, along with three Olympic medals. In recognition of her achievements, she was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2020.
