Dalton Rushing is an American professional baseball catcher and left fielder currently associated with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. Prior to his professional career, Rushing honed his skills playing college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals.

In 2019, as a senior at Brighton High School, Dalton Rushing batted .491 with 11 home runs and 46 RBI, earning All-State honors. He was not drafted in the 2019 Major League Baseball draft and then enrolled at the University of Louisville to play college baseball.
In 2020, Dalton Rushing began playing first base due to Henry Davis being Louisville's starting catcher. He started six games before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Rushing appeared in 28 games, batting .254 with four home runs and 14 RBI. After the season, he played in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Bourne Braves, batting .314 with six home runs and was named a league all-star.
On July 30, 2022, Dalton Rushing was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round, with the 40th pick of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. He signed with the Dodgers for a $1,959,390 signing bonus.
In 2022, Dalton Rushing became Louisville's starting catcher and finished the season having appeared in 64 games, slashing .310/.470/.686 with 23 home runs, 62 RBI, and 16 doubles. He was named an All-American and became a top prospect for the MLB draft.
In 2023, Rushing made his professional debut with the Arizona Complex League Dodgers and was promoted to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. He played 28 games for the Quakes, hitting .424 with eight home runs and 30 RBI. He was then promoted to the Great Lakes Loons for the Midwest League playoffs and remained with them for the 2023 season, hitting .228 in 89 games with 15 homers and 53 RBI. Rushing was selected to represent the Dodgers at the 2023 All-Star Futures Game.
In August 2024, Dalton Rushing was promoted to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Baseball Club, where it was announced that he would play primarily as a left fielder. During the 2024 season, playing for both the Double-A Tulsa Drillers and the Triple-A Oklahoma City Baseball Club, he played in 114 games, with a .271 batting average, 26 home runs and 85 RBI. He was also selected as the Dodgers Branch Rickey Minor League Player of the Year for 2024.
