Daniel Sprong

Daniel Sprong is a Dutch professional ice hockey player currently playing right wing for the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) while contracted to the New Jersey Devils (NHL). Drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2015 after a junior career with the Charlottetown Islanders (QMJHL), he played parts of four seasons with the Penguins and their AHL affiliate. Sprong was then traded to the Anaheim Ducks, spending two seasons there before being traded to the Washington Capitals in 2020. He also played for the Seattle Kraken, Detroit Red Wings, and Vancouver Canucks before returning to Seattle.
