Fenerbahçe S.K. is a major Turkish professional multi-sport club located in Istanbul. Known as Fenerbahçe or Fener, the club boasts numerous competitive departments including football, basketball, volleyball, and others like table tennis, athletics, and eSports. They have achieved success both domestically and in European competitions across various sports. The club is based in the Kadıköy district.

In 1907, Fenerbahçe was established as a football club in Istanbul, Ottoman Empire, by Ziya Songülen, Ayetullah Bey, and Necip Okaner, operating discreetly to avoid conflict with the Ottoman rule, which restricted Turkish youth from forming clubs or playing football. The name of the club originates from the Istanbul neighborhood of Fenerbahçe.
