1947: Incorporation of Fultondale

In 1947, Fulton, a mining town, was incorporated and renamed Fultondale, combining "Fulton Springs" and "Glendale".

2007: Colonial Promenade Fultondale Opening

The first phase of the Colonial Promenade Fultondale, a retail development project by Colonial Properties, opened in the fall of 2007, featuring a mix of large and small retailers, shops, and restaurants.
