History of Hardy Boyz in Timeline

The Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy, are a professional wrestling tag team. Currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), they hold the TNA World Tag Team Championship for the fourth time. They also make appearances on WWE's NXT brand. Their high-flying, innovative style and charismatic personalities have made them one of the most popular and successful tag teams in wrestling history.

July 1995: First Record Tag Team for Smoky Mountain Wrestling

In July 1995, The Hardy brothers had their first record tag team match for Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

February 7, 1999: The Hardys on That '70s Show

On February 7, 1999, the Hardys appeared on That '70s Show in the episode "That Wrestling Show" as uncredited wrestlers.

July 5, 1999: Win WWF Tag Team Championship

On July 5, 1999, The Hardy Boyz defeated The Acolytes (Faarooq and Bradshaw) on Raw Is War to win their first WWF Tag Team Championship.

February 25, 2002: The Hardys on Fear Factor

May 29, 2022: Jeff Hardy Suffers Injury at AEW Double or Nothing

On May 29, 2022, during a successful bout the Hardys had at the AEW Double or Nothing PPV against The Young Bucks, Jeff Hardy suffered a "terrible" concussion-like injury.

June 14, 2022: Jeff Hardy Suspended from AEW

On June 14, 2022, AEW owner Tony Khan suspended Jeff Hardy indefinitely from AEW following his arrest for DUI, driving with a suspended license, and violating a restriction related to an Ignition Interlock Device.

April 12, 2023: Jeff Hardy Returns to AEW
