Jerome Bettis, nicknamed "The Bus", is a former NFL running back renowned for his powerful running style and durability. After a college career at Notre Dame, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he spent most of his 13-season career. Bettis earned six Pro Bowl selections and two first-team All-Pro honors. He ranks among the NFL's all-time leading rushers, securing the eighth position. His career culminated in a Super Bowl XL victory with the Steelers in his hometown of Detroit, after which he retired. Bettis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
