Jon Stock is a British author and journalist known for his spy novels published under his own name, including "The Riot Act" and "Dead Spy Running". He also writes psychological thrillers under the pseudonym J.S. Monroe, such as "Find Me" and "The Other You". He has also written one non-fiction book, "The Sleep Room: A Very British Medical Scandal".
In 1997, "The Riot Act" was published by Serpent's Tail and short-listed by the Crime Writers' Association for its best first novel award.
From 1998, Jon Stock worked as a foreign correspondent for The Daily Telegraph in New Delhi until 2000.
