Jordan Chiles is an accomplished American artistic gymnast. A member of the U.S. women's national gymnastics team since 2013, she has achieved significant success at both the Olympic and World Championship levels. She secured a silver medal with the U.S. team at the 2020 Summer Olympics and a gold medal with the team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She further contributed to the U.S. team's gold medal win at the 2022 World Championships. Individually, Chiles earned silver medals in the vault and floor exercise at the 2022 World Championships. In NCAA Gymnastics, competing for the UCLA Bruins, she has attained two Pac-12, two Big Ten titles, and three NCAA championships.
Oklahoma secured the 2025 NCAA Women's Gymnastics National Championship, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork. UCLA finished as runner-up, demonstrating a strong performance. Jordan Chiles competed in the event.

In 2013, Jordan Chiles made her elite debut at the American Classic, winning a bronze medal in the all-around and a silver medal on vault. She later competed at the P&G National Championships and was selected to be a member of the Junior National Team.
In 2014, Jordan Chiles made her international debut at the City of Jesolo Trophy, winning a team gold medal and placing second on vault. She also won the all-around at the Secret U.S. Classic and earned bronze medals on vault and floor exercise at the U.S. National Championships. She was named to the Junior National Team again.
In 2015, Jordan Chiles placed eighth in the all-around at the U.S. Classic and tied for bronze on the uneven bars. At the 2015 U.S. National Championships, she finished fourth in the all-around and won gold on the vault, earning her another selection to the junior national team.
In 2016, Jordan Chiles won a gold medal in the junior team competition at the International Gymnix in Montreal. She also won the junior all-around title at the City of Jesolo Trophy and the gold medal on vault at the U.S. Classic.
In August 2018, at the National Championships, Jordan Chiles placed eleventh in the all-around and second on vault behind Simone Biles. She was also recognized in the media for competing in a Wonder Woman inspired leotard.
In 2018, after the World Team Selection Camp, Jordan Chiles was added to the 2018-2019 national team.
In 2019, Jordan Chiles competed at the U.S. Classic and finished eleventh in the all-around. At the U.S. National Championships, she placed sixth in the all-around and was named to the national team.
In 2019, Jordan Chiles moved from Vancouver, Washington to Spring, Texas to train at the World Champions Centre with Simone Biles.
In September 2019, Jordan Chiles competed at the World team selection camp and placed eleventh. She was not named to the World Championships team.
In 2020, Jordan Chiles was a member of the silver medal-winning team at the Summer Olympics.
In November, Jordan Chiles signed her National Letter of Intent with UCLA, deferring until after the 2020 Olympics and initially planning to start in the 2020–2021 school year.
In 2021, following the Tokyo Olympics, Jordan Chiles' mother served time in federal prison for embezzlement. Also in 2021, Chiles began her collegiate gymnastics career at the University of California, Los Angeles.
In the fall of 2021, Jordan Chiles joined Simone Biles' Gold Over America Tour alongside Katelyn Ohashi.

In September 2024, Jordan Chiles had filed an appeal in the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland regarding the reallocation of her bronze medal in the floor exercise from the 2024 Paris Olympics. The International Olympic Committee upheld the findings of the CAS and announced that the bronze medal in the floor exercise would be reallocated to Bărbosu. USA Gymnastics appealed the ruling, but the CAS denied a request to reconsider its ruling.
In 2024, Jordan Chiles competed at the Core Hydration Classic, placing third in the all-around. At the National Championships, she placed fifth in the all-around and second on uneven bars. At the Olympic trials, she finished third in the all-around and was selected to represent the United States at the Summer Olympics.
