Leedey is a town located in Dewey County, Oklahoma, in the United States. According to the 2020 census, the town had a population of 415 residents.
On January 6, 1900, the post office opened in Leedey, with Amos Leedey serving as the first postmaster.
In 1911, the Wichita Falls and Northwestern Railway completed a line to Leedey, turning it into a railroad town. Also in 1911, Leedey became incorporated.
On May 31, 1947, Leedey was struck by an F5 tornado that killed 7 people and caused heavy damage to the town.
