Michael Robert "Mike" Tauchman is an American professional baseball outfielder currently in the New York Mets organization. He has played in MLB for several teams, including the Rockies, Yankees, Giants, Cubs, and White Sox, and also in the KBO League for the Hanwha Eagles. Drafted by the Rockies in 2013, Tauchman made his MLB debut in 2017. Notably, he led all NCAA Division I baseball players in batting average (.425) during his senior year at Bradley University.

In 2013, Mike Tauchman's senior year, he achieved significant success in college baseball. He had a batting average of .425, led the Missouri Valley Conference with a .513 on-base percentage, and won the MVC Baseball Player of the Year Award. He was also a Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association First Team All-American.
In 2013, during his senior year at Bradley University, Tauchman led all NCAA Division I baseball players with a .425 batting average. That same year, the Rockies selected Tauchman in the 10th round of the MLB draft.

In 2016, Mike Tauchman played for the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes and later for the Águilas del Zulia in the Venezuelan Winter League.

On March 23, 2019, Mike Tauchman was traded from the Colorado Rockies to the New York Yankees in exchange for pitcher Phil Diehl. He also made the Yankees' Opening Day roster.
Through 2019, Mike Tauchman had played 278 games in center field, 208 in left field, and 120 in right field in his minor league career. He had a batting average of .303.
During the 2020 season with the Yankees, Mike Tauchman batted .242 with 14 RBIs and 6 stolen bases. He did not hit any home runs during this season, and was hampered by a right shoulder injury.
On April 27, 2021, Mike Tauchman was traded from the New York Yankees to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for pitcher Wandy Peralta and Connor Cannon.
