The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) serves the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With roughly 1,800 sworn officers when fully staffed, the department is divided into seven districts. Jeffrey B. Norman has been the chief of police since December 2020.

In 2019, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) transitioned to the SIG Sauer P320 in 9mm. This decision followed issues of frames cracking on the M&P40 pistols previously used by the MPD. The holster chosen for the P320 pistols is made by Safariland.
