NBA Gametime Live

NBA Gametime was NBA TV's flagship program, debuting on October 30, 2008. It ended on October 1, 2025, due to TNT Sports and the NBA failing to agree on a new direction for NBA TV's management. TNT Sports ended content production. The show was superseded by a new flagship program called "The Association".

On October 30, 2008, NBA Gametime, the flagship program of NBA TV, began airing.

February 2017: Players Only Debut on TNT

In February 2017, Players Only debuted on TNT, featuring live NBA games with analysis and fan interaction.

October 24, 2017: Fan Night Replaced by Players Only

On October 24, 2017, NBA TV replaced Fan Night with Players Only, a show featuring live games every Tuesday with hosts, analysts, and fan interaction via social media and video calls.

July 24, 2019: TNT Ends Players Only

On July 24, 2019, it was announced that TNT would discontinue airing games or content under the Players Only branding, starting in the 2019-2020 NBA Season.

2020: End of Players Only on TNT

October 1, 2025: NBA Gametime Conclusion

On October 1, 2025, NBA Gametime concluded due to TNT Sports ceasing content production for NBA TV after failing to agree on a new management path with the NBA. The show was replaced by "The Association".
