Nick Baumgartner is an American snowboarder specializing in snowboard cross (SBX). Hailing from Iron River, Michigan, he's a four-time Olympian, having qualified for the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics. He has won gold (2011) and silver (2012) medals at the Winter X Games. Baumgartner achieved his first Olympic gold medal at the age of 40 during the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where he and Lindsey Jacobellis won the inaugural Olympic mixed team snowboard cross event.
