Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round of the 2012 MLB draft, he debuted in MLB in 2018. Prior to joining the Kia Tigers, Wisdom played in MLB for the Cardinals, the Texas Rangers, and the Chicago Cubs. He also played college baseball for the Saint Mary's Gaels.
