Sterling "Scoot" Henderson is an American professional basketball player currently with the Portland Trail Blazers. A five-star recruit out of Carlton J. Kell High School, he bypassed college to join the NBA G League Ignite at age 17, becoming the youngest player in G League history. He captained the G League Next Up Game in his second season. Henderson was drafted 3rd overall in the 2023 NBA draft by Portland.
In February 2020, during his sophomore season, Scoot Henderson scored a then career-high 49 points and made the game-winning shot in a 92–91 overtime win over Miller Grove High School.
