Space force

A space force is a military branch specializing in space operations and warfare. The Russian Space Forces were the first, established in 1992, but later integrated into other branches. As of 2026, the United States Space Force and China's People's Liberation Army Aerospace Force are the only independent space forces. These organizations focus on military activities in outer space.
