He also played Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless (2013-2017). In 2019, he portrayed Jason Morgan's twin brother Drew Cain in flashbacks. Burton also gained recognition as the voice of Cloud Strife in several Square Enix projects, notably Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the Kingdom Hearts series.
