History of Stranger Things: The First Shadow in Timeline
Stranger Things: The First Shadow is a prequel play to the popular Stranger Things TV series, written by Kate Trefry, based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne, and Trefry. Directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, it premiered at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End in November 2023, officially opening in December. A Broadway run is scheduled at the Marquis Theatre in New York City, beginning April 22, 2025. The play expands upon the Stranger Things universe, exploring events prior to the series' main storyline.
