Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. Her career gained significant momentum after featuring on Wizkid's hit song "Essence" in 2020, which achieved international success, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a remix with Justin Bieber. This collaboration earned her a Grammy nomination. In the same year, she further solidified her presence in the music industry by appearing on Drake's song "Fountains."
