Teófimo López is an American professional boxer who has held world championships in two weight classes. He currently holds the WBO and Ring magazine junior welterweight titles since 2023. Previously, he was the unified lightweight champion, including The Ring title, from 2019 to 2021. López has also held the lineal championship in both the lightweight and light welterweight divisions, marking him as a significant figure in contemporary boxing.

On April 20, 2019, Lopez achieved a fifth-round knockout victory against former world title challenger Edis Tatli at Madison Square Garden, improving his record to 13-0.
