Terry M. Smith is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the interim head coach at Pennsylvania State University, a role he assumed in October 2025 following James Franklin's dismissal. Prior to becoming interim head coach, Smith served as the associate head coach and cornerbacks coach at Penn State from 2021 to 2025. Smith also played college football as a wide receiver for Penn State from 1987 to 1991.
