Tina Knowles is an American businesswoman, fashion designer, author, and philanthropist. She founded the fashion brands House of Deréon and Miss Tina by Tina Knowles. Best known as the mother of singers Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, she was married to Mathew Knowles, Destiny's Child's manager, until 2011. Knowles received recognition for her contributions to the fashion industry at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards in 2001.
