Aaron Jones is an American professional football running back currently playing for the Minnesota Vikings. Drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2017, he spent seven seasons with the team, achieving notable success. He led the NFL in rushing touchdowns in 2019 and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2020. Jones ranks third in Packers' all-time rushing yards. He played college football at UTEP before transitioning to the NFL.


1942: First Packers RB to Catch 3 Touchdowns Since 1942

During a game against the Lions, Aaron Jones became the first Packers running back since Andy Uram in 1942 to catch three touchdowns in a single game.

1948: Second-Most Rushing Yards in a Game

In 1948, during a game, Fred Wendt achieved 326 rushing yards which was the most in school history. During his senior year, Jones had 301 rushing yards and four touchdowns, second only to Fred Wendt's record set in 1948.
