In 2018, Arthur Rinderknech made his Grand Slam main draw debut as a wildcard at the French Open in doubles, partnering with Florian Lakat.

In July 2021, Arthur Rinderknech reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier at the Swedish Open in Båstad, defeating 4th seed John Millman. As a result, he made his top 100 debut on July 19, 2021. He also defeated second seed Roberto Bautista Agut at the Swiss Open Gstaad to reach the quarterfinals.
In August 2021, Arthur Rinderknech reached the semifinals for the first time in his career at the Kitzbühel Open, losing to Casper Ruud. As a result, he reached a new career-high of World No. 79 on August 2, 2021.
In November 2021, Arthur Rinderknech reached his first ATP final at the Moselle Open partnering with Hugo Nys, where they were defeated by Hubert Hurkacz and Jan Zieliński. Following a quarterfinal appearance at the Stockholm Open, he made his debut in the top 60 at World No. 58 on November 15, 2021.
In 2021, Arthur Rinderknech entered directly into the US Open main draw for the first time and also reached the second round of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career, defeating Miomir Kecmanović after a comeback from two sets down.
In 2021, Arthur Rinderknech qualified for the Wimbledon Championships main draw for the first time in his career, losing in the first round to Oscar Otte in a match that featured only the second 12 games all singles supertiebreak since the rule began.
In March 2021, Arthur Rinderknech made his debut on the ATP Tour at the Open 13 in Marseille, France, qualifying for the main draw and reaching the quarterfinals, where he beat Alejandro Davidovich Fokina before losing to Ugo Humbert.
In May 2021, at the ATP Lyon Open, Arthur Rinderknech recorded his first win, defeating 6th seeded Jannik Sinner, marking his first top-20 win, and reaching his second career quarterfinal as a lucky loser.
In January 2022, Arthur Rinderknech reached his first final on the ATP Tour at the Adelaide International 2, eventually losing to Thanasi Kokkinakis. As a result, he made his debut in the world's top 50 at No. 48 on January 17, 2022. He also won his first match at the Australian Open before withdrawing due to a wrist injury.
