Edrice Femi "Bam" Adebayo is a prominent American professional basketball player currently playing for the Miami Heat in the NBA. A product of the Kentucky Wildcats college basketball program, Adebayo was drafted 14th overall in 2017. He has since become a three-time NBA All-Star and a five-time NBA All-Defensive Team selection, demonstrating his prowess on both ends of the court. Adebayo played a crucial role in the Heat's NBA Finals appearances in 2020 and 2023. Furthermore, he has achieved international success, securing gold medals with the U.S. Olympic basketball teams in both the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
The Miami Heat hadn't appeared in the NBA Finals since 2014, until Bam helped lead them to one in 2020.

Adebayo also helped lead the Heat to their first finals appearance since 2014. After Adebayo suffered an injury in game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals, the Heat went on to lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in 6 games.
