Caris LeVert is an American professional basketball player currently with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan. Originally drafted by the Indiana Pacers, he was immediately traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He subsequently played for the Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers before a trade to the Atlanta Hawks in February 2025. He signed with the Detroit Pistons in the following off-season.

1985: Michigan's Big Ten Championship

2016: NBA Draft and Trade to Brooklyn Nets

In 2016, Caris LeVert was selected with the 20th overall pick in the NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers but was later traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He signed his rookie scale contract with the Nets on July 14 and made his NBA debut on December 7. He finished 12th in the voting for the 10-man NBA All-Rookie team, almost making the team.
