Caris LeVert is an American professional basketball player currently with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan. Originally drafted by the Indiana Pacers, he was immediately traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He subsequently played for the Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers before a trade to the Atlanta Hawks in February 2025. He signed with the Detroit Pistons in the following off-season.

2012: High School Success and Awards

In 2012, as a high school senior, Caris LeVert led Pickerington Central to a 26–2 record and the OHSAA Division I state championship. He also received individual accolades, including being named an Associated Press All-Ohio Second Team high school basketball player and the Columbus Dispatch Metro Player of the Year.

2013: Increased Role and Performances as a Sophomore

During the offseason of 2013, Caris LeVert trained extensively. As a sophomore, he became a key contributor to Michigan basketball.
