Caris LeVert is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan. Initially drafted by the Indiana Pacers, he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets before also playing for the Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is known for his scoring ability and versatility on the court.
In 1985, Michigan clinched its first outright Big Ten Conference championship since the 1985–86 season.

Prior to the 2014-15 season, in 2014, Caris LeVert received several preseason honors, including being named a first team All-Big Ten selection and inclusion in various All-American teams and watchlists.
Prior to the 2015-16 season, in 2015, Caris LeVert was named an All-Big Ten preseason selection for the second straight year and was included in watchlists for the Jerry West Award, John R. Wooden Award, Naismith College Player of the Year, and Robertson Trophy.
On February 8, 2019, Caris LeVert returned to action after missing 42 games due to a severe right leg injury. He played 15 minutes off the bench and scored 11 points in a 125–106 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
