"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" is a comic book series from Archie Horror that debuted in 2014. This darker reimagining of the classic "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" is written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with art by Robert Hack. Its inspiration comes from Sabrina's appearances in Aguirre-Sacasa's previous work on "Afterlife with Archie," also published by Archie Comics.
In 1972, Archie Comics released "Chilling Adventures in Sorcery As Told By Sabrina," a two-issue anthology series where Sabrina narrated horror stories.
Archie's Red Circle Comics imprint rebooted "Chilling Adventures in Sorcery" in 1973, removing Sabrina and the traditional cartoon style from the series.
Due to the positive reception of Sabrina's appearance in Afterlife with Archie #6, Archie Comics announced a dedicated solo series for the character in June 2014.
