He's known for his stints as the head coach at Xavier University, where he achieved considerable success, leading the Musketeers to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Later, he took on the head coaching role at the University of Louisville. His tenure at Louisville was marked by both on-court performance and off-court controversies, which ultimately led to his departure. He is currently the head coach at the South Florida.
