Christopher Lee Stratton is an American professional baseball pitcher currently a free agent. He has played in MLB for several teams, including the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers, and Kansas City Royals. Stratton's career consists of being a professional baseball player.
In 2012, the San Francisco Giants selected Chris Stratton in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft. Also in August of 2012, he was hospitalized after being struck in the head by a line drive.
After the 2015 season, the Giants added Chris Stratton to their 40-man roster.
On May 28, 2016, Chris Stratton was called up from the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats to the major leagues to replace the injured Matt Cain.
