April 25, 2018: Addition of Clan Wars

On April 25, 2018, Clan Wars were added to Clash Royale, separated into "Collection Day" and "War Day," where Clans battle to earn cards and trophies. Participants would build a battle deck using only the cards unlocked on Collection Day.

August 20, 2018: Season 1 of Clash Royale League Started

On August 20, 2018, Season 1 of the Clash Royale League, the official team esports world championship developed by Supercell, commenced. The league consisted of five regions: North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and China.

December 2018: Introduction of Star Points for Cosmetics

In December 2018, the Star Points feature was added to Clash Royale, allowing players to unlock special golden cosmetics for level 14 cards.

2018: Esport Demonstration Event
