Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is an American nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery. It promotes conservative politics, primarily targeting high school and college campuses. Charlie Kirk later deleted his tweet promoting the buses and said on his podcast that entering the Capitol was "bad judgment" but not necessarily insurrectionist. In October 2023, an English instructor at Arizona State University was followed and confronted by a TPUSA crew, resulting in an altercation. The instructor said the resulting wounds to his face were "relatively minor".
