Davis Webb is an American professional football coach and former quarterback, currently the offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos. He played college football at Texas Tech and California before being drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. Webb spent six seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Buffalo Bills, and was a member of all three New York-based NFL franchises.
Sean Payton announced Davis Webb will be the Broncos' playcaller, starting in 2026. This decision marks a significant shift in the Broncos' offensive strategy, with Webb taking over play-calling duties from Payton.
In 1994, Zebbie Lethridge held the record for the school single season freshman passing yards. This record was later broken by Davis Webb.

During the preparations for the 2013 Holiday Bowl, it was announced that Baker Mayfield was going to be transferring from the school.
In 2013, Davis Webb was named the starter for the Holiday Bowl against Arizona State. He finished the game with 403 yards, 28–41 passing and four touchdowns, tying a Holiday Bowl touchdown record and earning MVP honors.
In 2013, during his freshman year, Davis Webb alternated as a backup quarterback behind Baker Mayfield, and as a starter for Texas Tech University. He became only the second true freshman at the position to play for the school.
On October 25, 2014, Davis Webb suffered a season-ending ankle injury in a game against TCU and was replaced by Patrick Mahomes.
On December 30, 2015, Davis Webb announced his intention to transfer from Texas Tech.
On January 27, 2016, Davis Webb announced his intention to transfer to the University of Colorado Boulder.
On May 25, 2016, California Golden Bears head coach Sonny Dykes announced that Davis Webb had signed a financial aid agreement and was enrolled officially at the University of California, Berkeley.
In the 2016 season at California, Davis Webb set school single-season records for passing attempts, completions and total plays. He was also named the Golden Bears' Season MVP and won the Reese's Senior Bowl MVP award.
On May 11, 2017, the New York Giants signed Davis Webb to a four-year, $3.53 million contract that included a signing bonus of $766,420.
On November 28, 2017, head coach Ben McAdoo announced that Geno Smith would replace Eli Manning as the starting quarterback and that Davis Webb would also see playing time before the end of the season.
