Deltopia

Deltopia, formerly Floatopia, is an annual social gathering in Isla Vista, California, near UCSB, initiated by students in 2004. Held the first weekend after UCSB's spring quarter begins, it primarily occurs along Del Playa Drive. Starting with a few hundred attendees, it grew significantly, attracting 20,000 to 25,000 participants, mainly college students, in later years.
