Edmundo Sosa is a Panamanian professional baseball infielder currently playing for the Philadelphia Phillies in MLB. He began his professional career after signing with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent in 2012. Sosa made his debut in Major League Baseball with the Cardinals in 2018, showcasing his skills as an infielder before later joining the Phillies.

In 2017, Sosa's season was limited due to injury, and he played in only 58 games, posting a .288 batting average with one home run and 16 RBIs. After the season, he was assigned to the Surprise Saguaros of the Arizona Fall League (AFL).
