Frost Bank Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in San Antonio, Texas. It serves as the home venue for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a multi-purpose arena, it likely hosts other events besides basketball games, contributing to the city's entertainment options.
The San Antonio Spurs returned to Frost Bank Center to prepare for Game 3 after losing Game 2 to OKC. Fans welcomed them back at the airport. Wemby and Fox added excitement.
The Alamodome, a multi-purpose facility, opened in 1993 and became the Spurs' home court.
In November 1999, Bexar County voters approved the plan to fund the facility through an increase of hotel and car rental taxes. The Spurs received their rings for their first NBA championship on the same day.

In November 2005, SBC Communications changed its name to AT&T Inc.
In January 2006, the arena officially changed its name to AT&T Center, reflecting the name change of its sponsor.
In 2007, a Professional Bull Riders event was previously held at the Alamodome.
In 2007, the arena hosted Royal Rumble.
In 2008, a Professional Bull Riders event was held at the Alamodome.
In 2008, a tax increase was approved to fund improvements to the Tobin Center, parts of the Mission Reach expansion, and the rodeo grounds located next to the AT&T Center.
In 2009, the arena hosted TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs.
On the weekend of August 1–2, 2009, the Professional Bull Riders hosted a Built Ford Tough Series event at the arena.
In 2011, the arena hosted Vengeance.
In 2012, the Rampage renamed the press box to the "Jessica Redfield Press Box" after Jessica Redfield, a former team intern killed in the Aurora theater shooting.
Since May 2013, the venue has hosted the annual Bud Light River City Rockfest.
On June 28, 2014, UFC Fight Night: Swanson vs. Stephens was held at the arena.
On December 9, 2014, the Bexar County Commissioners Court granted Spurs Sports and Entertainment permission to begin up to $101.5 million in renovations to the AT&T Center.
In the summer of 2015, renovations started at the AT&T Center. These included a new scoreboard, updated televisions, a new sound system, and improved Wi-Fi.
On October 1, 2016, the arena hosted the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions.
On November 12, 2016, Black Sabbath played their final show in the United States at the arena.
In 2017, the San Antonio Stars of the Women's National Basketball Association ended its tenancy at the arena.
In 2018, the arena hosted Hell in a Cell.
On April 10, 2019, Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks played his final NBA game at the arena, resulting in a 94–105 loss to the Spurs. A tribute video was shown, moving Nowitzki to tears.
On July 20, 2019, UFC on ESPN: dos Anjos vs. Edwards was held at the arena. The event broke the record for most decisions in a row on one fight card.
In 2020, the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League ended its 18-year tenancy at the arena.
On July 2, 2021, it was announced that AT&T would not be renewing its contract for the naming rights to the venue.
On March 25, 2023, UFC on ESPN: Vera vs. Sandhagen was held at the arena.
On September 22, 2023, the name change to Frost Bank Center became official. The arena's website and social media accounts were updated immediately, with the building signage updated soon after.
On December 23, 2023, an episode of AEW Collision was held at the arena.
In November 2024, the city of San Antonio revealed plans for a new downtown district that would include a new arena as well as a new convention center, hotel tower and acres of retail and residential development, and improvements to the Alamodome.
On January 25, 2025, the arena hosted Saturday Night’s Main Event.
In August 2025, the financing plan for the new downtown district was approved.
On September 13, 2025, the UFC held its third annual "Noche UFC" event at the arena for Noche UFC: Lopes vs. Silva.
In November 2025, public funding for the new arena was approved with the goal to have the new arena ready by 2032.
